Committed to a Sustainable Future

At Klingele Embalajes Canarias, sustainability is not a trend, it's our commitment.

Certifications that Endorse Our Commitment

Our operations are backed by certifications that guarantee both management excellence and care for the environment and people. In this regard, we particularly highlight the certifications granted by AENOR, which confirm our commitment to:

  • Quality Management – ISO 9001: This international standard ensures that all our processes are focused on delivering high-quality products and services, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Occupational Health and Safety – ISO 45001: This certification guarantees a safe and healthy work environment, committed to the well-being of our entire team, reducing occupational risks and promoting a culture of prevention.

These accreditations strengthen our position as a responsible benchmark in the sustainable packaging sector and reinforce the trust of our clients, suppliers, and partners.

Why Choose Sustainable Packaging?

Choosing sustainable products is a decision that makes a difference. Our corrugated cardboard packaging is designed to protect the environment from its origin to the end of its life cycle. They are 100% recyclable, biodegradable, and plastic-free, significantly reducing the carbon footprint compared to other packaging materials.

Carbon footprint reduction Carbon Footprint Reduction

By choosing products manufactured locally in the Canary Islands, you help reduce emissions associated with air transport from mainland Spain, opting for a more sustainable logistics model.

Environmentally friendly Environmentally Friendly

All our packaging solutions are designed to integrate with nature, supporting the circular economy and minimizing environmental impact.

Plastic-free Plastic-Free

We offer completely plastic-free packaging, made with recyclable and biodegradable cardboard — an eco-friendly alternative without compromising functionality.

SUSTAINABILITY IN NUMBERS:
LESS PLASTIC, MORE FUTURE

Corrugated cardboard is one of the most sustainable materials on the market. Its circular life cycle, high recyclability rate, and renewable origin make it a responsible choice for any environmentally committed company.

90%
of cardboard packaging in Europe is recycled, making it the material with the highest recycling rate on the continent.
60%
less energy is required to produce cardboard compared to single-use plastic packaging.
1.7
million tons of CO₂ were avoided in Spain in 2023 thanks to household packaging recycling.

Positive Impact Beyond the Product

At Klingele Embalajes Canarias, we understand sustainability as a transversal value that goes beyond our industrial processes. We strongly believe that companies play an active role in the well-being of the communities where they operate. That’s why we develop Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions that generate a positive impact, fostering social cohesion, environmental awareness, and responsible growth.

Collaborations

Tenerife-renace

We have collaborated with Tenerife Renace, an initiative by the Canary Foundation for Reforestation (FORESTA), committed to reforestation and conservation of the forest mass affected by the tragic IFArafoCandelaria wildfires in August 2023 in Tenerife.

During this campaign, we allocated 5% of our online sales to the project, raising over €2,800 that is already being used to directly support environmental recovery efforts.
